The Nordic Chiropractors' Research Forum (NCRF): |
In 2006, Nordic Institute of Chiropractic and Clinical Biomechanics held an exploratory meeting of The Nordic Chiropractic Research Forum, which NIKKB took the initiative to form.
The meeting had the objective of examining the possibilities of forming a Nordic research forum aimed at strengthening the exchange of knowledge and experience between the Nordic countries.
The following ideas were generated during the meeting as possible content and as objective of the forum:
- Exchange of experience and know-how in the research field
- Joint research courses
- Project advisory
- Joint research projects in the Nordic countries
- Identical research projects in several countries simultaneously
- Joint Nordic research strategy
- Annual meeting in Denmark or by turn in the Nordic countries
- Web page
- Focus on communication, e-mails, newsletters, conference calls
A steering group was formed with representatives from all the participating countries and the group is responsible for all future initiatives and works to implement ideas.
